Delete your Speechwing account

In the app

Open Speechwing, go to Settings and choose Delete account. This works for a guest account too. The app shows whether the request is pending or complete.

By email

If you no longer have the app, email support@speechwing.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. If you used a guest account, tell us and describe the speech so we can find it. We may need to check that the request relates to your account before we delete it.

What is deleted

Your account, its interview answers, speeches and saved versions. Once server deletion is confirmed, Speechwing also clears its own copies on the device where you made the request.

What is kept

Purchase and refund records, records of the deletion request, and records of AI writing calls and their costs. These hold no speech text. We keep them for accounting, payment disputes and legal obligations, and for as long as each purpose needs. Copies you downloaded or shared, copies on other devices, and provider backups are not removed at the same moment.

Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Deleting your account does not refund a purchase; see the refund policy. The privacy policy has the full details.
